Welcome House Hosts 2014 Annual Meeting

On October 9 the Life Members and Board of Trustees of Welcome House and West Haven met to celebrate the success of the year! Special CCBDD  Superintendent Kelly Pettythanks to guest speaker Kelly Petty, the Superintendent of the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Dr. Amelia Llerena was presented with a lifetime achievement awardAlso, congratulations to Dr. Amelia Llerena, MD, the Welcome House medical director on her Lifetime Achievement Award for her service to individuals with developmental disabilities

Volunteer of the Year Award recipient Sandy PanikSandy Panik was awarded the Volunteer of the Year award for her tireless work on behalf of the Welcome House clients. Sandy has chaired the Reverse Raffle for 5 years and is always available to meet the needs of any clients! Thank you Sandy!

Advocate of the Year Award Recipient Bill MerrimanOur final award of the evening was given to Bill Merriman for his advocacy on behalf of Welcome House in the Ohio City community. When our new Ohio City project opens its doors it is in great part thanks to the efforts of Bill Merriman. Thank you and congratulations Bill!
